Lao Cultural Classes

Subsidiary of Lao Community Cultural Center of Fresno (LCCCF)

Promoting and Preserving the Lao Culture in California

Our Mission

Our mission is to preserve and promote Lao culture. We offer free Lao cultural classes in literacy, culture, classical music, and dance every Sunday. These classes provide both youths and adults with the opportunity to learn about Lao culture and traditions. The program is run by dedicated volunteers. We believe that awareness of one's culture helps to build self-esteem and confidence for individuals and their families. Our goal is to showcase Lao culture through dance and music to raise awareness and appreciation for the Lao American people.

About Us

The Lao Community Cultural Center of Fresno (LCCCF) was established in 1997. We are located at the Lao Dhamma Sacca Temple in Fresno, California. LCCCF is a non-profit organization, 501(c)(3). We are funded through generous donations from LCCCF members, Dhamma Sacca Temple members, students, parents, and the community, as well as various fundraisers.

LCCCF sponsors various programs throughout the year, such as the Youth Education and Cultural Program, Family Bereavement/Support, Miss Lao Pageant, Kong Toum Cultural Group, and the Annual Lao New Year Celebration. Our main focus is the Youth Education/Cultural Program.

The success of our programs is thanks to the efforts of our amazing volunteers and generous donations from the community. Volunteers work tirelessly to maintain these programs. We hope to gain more support from the community through generous donations and by encouraging more volunteers to join us. We welcome and encourage you to come check out our program and facility.
