Our Mission

Our mission is to celebrate, preserve, and promote the vibrant heritage of Lao culture. Through free weekly classes in literacy, traditional music, classical dance, and cultural education, we empower youth and adults to embrace their roots and strengthen their cultural identity. Led by passionate volunteers, our programs foster self-esteem, confidence, and pride among individuals and families. By showcasing the beauty and richness of Lao dance and music, we aim to cultivate awareness, understanding, and appreciation for the Lao American community, ensuring that Lao traditions continue to thrive across generations.

About Us

The Fresno Lao Cultural Program (FLCP) is an independent organization dedicated to youth education and cultural preservation in the Fresno Lao community. FLCP works in partnership with the Lao Community Cultural Center of Fresno (LCCCF) to continue supporting cultural programs, community events, and educational opportunities for youth and families.

Our primary focus is the Youth Education and Cultural Program, which includes language instruction, cultural education, and the arts.

The success of our programs is made possible by the dedication of our amazing volunteers and the generous support of our community. Volunteers work tirelessly to sustain and grow these programs.
